President Sadyr Japarov: “New Kyrgyzstan belongs not to a single person or a single government, but to all of us, to the entire people!”

The President of Kyrgyzstan Mr. Sadyr Japarov attended the opening ceremony of the “Irys Ordo” State Congress Centre in Bishkek.

President Japarov who was greeted by an honour guard upon his arrival at the “Irys Ordo” building cut the ribbon symbolising an ancient tradition that marks the beginning of a new era at the entrance of the complex and expressed his wishes for a clear path.

Later on President Japarov proceeded to the “Kurultai” hall, where attendees of  the event had gathered. The hall was filled with the heads of parliament, the Council of Ministers and the judiciary, ministers, representatives of diplomatic missions, former heads of state and members of the government, as well as figures from religious, cultural and sports’ affairs and other distinguished guests.

In his address to the participants, President Japarov stressed the historical significance of the day and noted that ‘Irys Ordo’ has become a new symbol of modern Kyrgyzstan, reflecting the country’s growing potential, its desire for development and its orientation towards the future.

President Japarov further underlined that the unity of the people is the cornerstone of the state’s prosperity and development and said: “New Kyrgyzstan belongs not to a single person or a single government, but to all of us, to the entire nation! Let us build together a blessed country with strong solidarity, a lofty spirit and faith in a bright future!”

Specifically highlighting the fact  that Kyrgyzstan’s role on the international stage is steadily increasing, President Japarov  also noted that this requires the availability of venues capable of hosting major international events at the highest level and said that ‘Irys Ordo’ will become a new centre for international diplomacy and large-scale events.

President Japarov went on making the following remarks:“The ‘Irys Ordo’ Congress Centre will host leaders’ summits and global forums of major international organisations—such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, the Eurasian Economic Union and the Organisation of Turkic States—where the most important issues on the global political agenda are addressed. Hosting such major events will enhance Kyrgyzstan’s international standing and geopolitical image. Our country, situated at the heart of Central Asia, will become the new centre of international diplomacy where major decisions are taken.”

Underlining the high potential of the country, President  added that: “Today, our country has reached a stage where it can implement major infrastructure and social projects on its own. We must recognise the value of this. This is direct proof that Kyrgyzstan is developing independently, relying on its own strength and resources.”

Touching upon major upcoming events, President Japarov called upon the people of Kyrgyzstan to host the World Nomadic Games so as to raise worldwide attention  and said:“On this occasion, let us reaffirm once again that we are a united people, standing as one, and a nation bound by solidarity; and let us work together to organise the upcoming international events in the best possible way, with robust logistics, security and high-quality services, ensuring the Games are conducted with the utmost fairness. Let us welcome every guest who sets foot on Kyrgyz soil in a manner befitting their status, and let us make the most of this opportunity to showcase the Kyrgyz people’s hospitality, our ancient culture and our rich traditions to the whole world.”
