Artists and museums’ experts of the Turkic Worls arrived in Andijan
Delegations of participants who arrived in Andijan, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2026 to attend the Fourth International Theatre Festival of TURKSOY and the Fifth Museums’ Gathering of the Turkic World were welcomed with ceremonies held at the airport and railway station.
Within the framework of events organised under the coordination of the International Organisation of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), artists and museum experts from member countries were welcomed with flowers in ceremonies hosted by Uzbek authorities at the Andijan Airport and Andijan Railway Station.
Throughout the theatre festival and the museums’ gathering it will be hosting from October 18th to October 23rd and October 19th to October 20th respectively, the city of Andijan, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2026, will become the cultural and artistic hub of the region for a week.
