Statement of TURKSOY regarding recent events in Kazakhstan

We are following up the current situation in Kazakhstan, the founding member country of the International Organization of Turkic Culture  with deep sorrow.

We do see that the peace and stability built by the people of Kazakhstan from  the day of its independence until now is of utmost importance for our joint future.

We are strongly convinced that the government of Kazakhstan and its people will successfully overcome this troublesome period. These are times in which we must stand all together in solidarity with eachother and behave  reasonably. We wish these challenging times to settle as soon as possible. May those who passed away  rest in peace and may those who were injured get well soon.
