The exhibition which has already taken place in various countries and cities worldwide since the beginning of the year to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Independence of Turkic republics introduces five Turkic states to visitors and gives them an insight into their nature, history, architecture, culture and art.

In the speech he delivered at the event held in a shopping mall, the Director  of the Turkish Cultural Center of Eskisehir Prof. Dr. Nedim Ünal stressed the importance of the unity of the Turkic World and expressed his happiness to be organizing this exhibition dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Independence of Turkic states.

Prof. Dr. Nedim Ünal further added: "30 Years ago, the flags of 5 Turkic states were added to the charts displaying the flags of Turkey and Cyprus. As you know the territories of Turkic Islamic countries,  Transoxiana (Mā Warāʾ al-Nahr) and Khorasan had been occupied for 160-165 years. Today, when looking at charts displaying the flags of all countries of the world, one can see the flags of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan next to those of Turkey and Cyprus all together. Today we are also celebrating the anniversary of the Zheltoksan Protests of 1986 which literally ignited the dismantling of the Soviet Union. Seven states said “We are the representatives of the Turkic nation”. Hence, it is a great happiness for us to be offering this exhibition to Eskisehir in cooperation of the Turkish Cultural Center of Eskisehir with  TURKSOY and the Turkic World Research Club as we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkic states.”

Mrs. Guler Fedai who took the floor and delivered a speech on behalf of TURKSOY said that TURKSOY has been holding many celebration events dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Independence of Turkic states since the beginning of the year and stressed the fact that it is an honour for TURKSOY to be holding this one in Eskişehir. Mrs. Fedai further expressed her gratitude to all institutions and organizations as well as to all local governments and universities for the precious support they have been providing to activities carried out by TURKSOY.
