Concerts of the Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY have begun

Talented singers of the Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY selected from among various countries of the Turkic World take the scene in Turkey within the framework of   their tour dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The choir which completed its rehearsals prior to its tour organized in cooperation oıf TURKSOY with the Metropolitan Municipality of Hatay  gave its first concert at the Cultural Center of Hatay on September  2nd, 2021.

The concert held in Hatay, this ancient city of Turkey which hosted many civilizations throughout history and stands for peace, brotherhood and tolerance, raised great interest among amateurs of art. The event which took place in the presence of the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality of Hatay Mr. Lütfü Savaş started with a performance from the Yunus Emre Oratorio by Ahmet Adnan Saygun on the occasion of the Year of Yunus Emre and the Turkish Language. The concert which featured works by composers from various countries of the Turkic World ended with a collective performance by all artists who took the scene together with protocol members to joyfully celebrate the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkic republics. 

The choir which is  composed of talented conservatory students of the Turkic World and won three gold medals at the World Choir Games shortly after its establishment in 2015 gathered 27 artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey and took the scene under its choirmaster from Kazakhstan Mrs. Gulmira Kuttybadamova, the conductor of the Philharmonic Choir of Kazakhstan. Artists of the choir who performed in special concerts broadcasted by  the TRT and recorded various albums in previous years will perform at the Closing Event of the Cultural Summit of the Organization of United Cities and Local Governments of the World this year.

At the concert which will take place at the Ahmet Adnan Saygın Cultural Center on September 11th, 2021the soloists Çınara Şirinova from Azerbaijan, Gülzat Daurbayeva from Kazakhstan, Baktıbek Ibıkeev from Kyrgyzstan and  Aydın Ustuk from Turkey will be accompanied by the El Ele Music and Symphony Orchestra and the Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY. 

The concert dedicated to the Year of Yunus Emre and Turkish Language 2021 and featuring the Yunus Emre Oratorio which is the masterpiece of the Turkish composer Ahmet Adnan Saygun will take place in the Great Concert Hall of the Ahmet Adnan Saygun Cultural Center in Izmir on September 11th, 2021 at  08.30.
