Exhibition of the “21st Painters' Gathering of TURKSOY" inaugurated in Osh, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2019
The exhibition featuring paintings by artists who participated in the 21st Painters' Gathering of TURKSOY was inaugurated in Osh, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2019.
The exhibition entitled "The Ancient City of Osh Through the Eyes of 21st Century Painters" was inaugurated in the "Suleiman Too" Museum on May 30th, introducing paintings by 11 artists artists from 10 countries of the Turkic Worldı.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition gathered the Deputy Mayor of Osh Jasur Azimov, the Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to TURKSOY Kojogeldi Kuluyev, the Head of the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs of TURKSOY Mr. Sancar Mülazımoğlu and painters from the Turkic World along with many amateurs of art.
In the speech he delivered at the opening ceremony, Mr. Azimov stressed the fact that the Municipality of Osh attaches particular importance to this exhibition gathering painters from various regions and countries of the Turkic World in Osh as it is a strong contribution to the cultural and social dynamism of the city.
Mr. Azimov further said that painters whose works are displayed in the exhibition have depicted the typical characteristics and rich cultural heritage of the city of Osh in their beautiful paintings.
Officials and guests who visited the exhibition following its inauguration extended certificates of appreciation and souvenirs to the painters as a remembrance of the day.
The Painters' Gathering of TURKSOY took place with the contribution of Parvyz Alakbarly (Azerbaijan), Umyrbek Zhubanyiazov (Kazakhstan), Mehmet Ali Doğan (Turkey), Hojaguly Hojagulyyev (Turkmenistan), Mehmet Saryler (TRNC), Lea Toth (Hungary), Semen Nykyforov (Sakha Yakutia, RF), Aigul Ishberdyna (Bashkortostan, RF), Khurshyd Nazarov (Uzbekistan), Saparbay Osmanaliyev and Kubanych Mamarayimov (Kyrgyzstan).
