The Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY took the scene in Vienna, the Heart of Western Classical Music
As an international organization established upon signature of its founding agreement by Azerbaijan,Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey, TURKSOY further celebrates its 25th anniversary with colourful events in various countries.
Within this framework, a concert of the Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY was held in Vienna, the homeland of classical music on November 30th, 2018. The event took place in the concert hall of the Pilharmonic Orchestra of Vienna which is one of the most prestigious venues of the world. The concert which gathered a large audience was organized in cooperation of the Embassies of TURKSOY member countries in Vienna with the Yunus Emre Institute of Vienna. The colourful event featured Maestro Mustafa Mehmandarov from Azerbaijan as conductor along with Ms. Amina Mashkeyeva as pianist and the young talent Mr. Sergei Dogadin.

The concert featured works by composers of Western classical music as well as works by composers of the Turkic World. The highlight of the concert was the performance of the young talent Sergei Dogadin, winner of the 1st Prize of the International Tretyakov Violin Competition and owner of the Special Prize of TURKSOY who took the scene as a soloist. The young artist Dogadin who said that he was impressed by the energetic performance of the Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY further added: "I took the scene in many concerts. But this orchestra is different and I was particularly impressed by the energetic performance of my young colleagues. Indeed, sometimes, you may play with highly professional musicians without feeling such s strong energy. The Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY is one of the best orchestras I have performed with until today. I would like to extend my gratitude to TURKSOY for having given me this opportunity.’’
Members of the Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY who get the opportunity to improve themselves with masterclasses held during their annual tours have given yet another unforgettable performance which enriched the records of their career.
Last concert of the tour in Bratislava
The Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY will give its last concert in Bratislava. The concert which will take place in cooperation of TURKSOY with Cultus Ruzinov will be the first event organized by TURKSOY in Slovakia. Following the concert which will take place on December 2nd, 2018 at 06.00 p.m., young artists of the orchestra will return to their respective countries.
The tour held under the motto "Sounds of Eurasia" is with the contribution of Permanent Delegations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Transports and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the Ankara Chamber of Commerce and the Yunus Emre Institute.
