Congratulation message of TURKSOY Secretary General Ambassador Dusen Kasseinov on the occasion of the Day of Cooperation of Turkic Speaking Countries
May October 3rd, the Day of Cooperation of Turkic Speaking Countries bring about prosperity to the Turkic World
Upon signature the Presidents of the Republics of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey on October 3rd, 2009, the Nakchevan Agreement aiming at the institutionalization of the cooperation among our states entered into force. The day of the signature of this historical agreement has accordingly been declared Day of Cooperation of Turkic Speaking Countries.
The Turkic Council established upon signature of this agreement has since then been a great source of pride for the entire Turkic World with activities it carried out to reach goals set upon joint decision of our heads of states.
In line with its mission statement, TURKSOY which celebrates its 25th anniversary is further carrying out its cooperation activities to contribute to the preservation and promotion of the common language, history and cultural values of the Turkic World with the support of the Turkic Council, the Turkic Academy and the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation which are kindred organizations of TURKSOY sharing its principles and goals.
On the occasion of this meaningful day, let me therefore express my sincere congratulations to all Turkic speaking countries.
May the Day of Cooperation of Turkic Speaking Countries contribute to the further strengthening of the mutual cooperation and solidarity among our peoples.
