TURKSOY enlarges the scope of its cooperation with Ukraine

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Ankara  H. E.  Andrii Sybiha and his delegation  visited TURKSOY. 

In the meeting held in TURKSOY Headquarters, TURKSOY Secretary General  Prof. Dusen Kasseinov and his deputy Secretary General  Prof. Dr. Fırat Purtaş informed Ambassador Sybiha  about  TURKSOY and its activities. Ambassador  Sybiha who said that there are also peoples of Turkic origin living in Ukraine added that Ukraine is also willing to participate in activities carried out by  TURKSOY. Ambassador Sybiha further stressed that with its activities, TURKSOY  strongly contributes to the unity of peoples and said that the participation of citizens of Ukraine in these events will be of great importance.

Mr. Dusen Kasseinov said that TURKSOY is working in close cooperation with Ukraine in the field of culture and art and stressed his wish as to the further development of this cooperation. In the meeting, both parties also discussed cooperation opportunities between TURKSOY and Ukraine and exchanged views on the participation of Ukraine in activities and projects to be carried out by TURKSOY in the near future.

After the meeting, Andrii Sybiha and his delegation  visited the exhibition featuring photos of activities carried out by TURKSOY. The visit of the delegation members who also examined TURKSOY's publications ended with a group photograph as a remembrance of the day.
