The Music of the Turkic World reaches out to Europe with concerts in Spain

The Anatolian Symphony Orchestra of TURKSOY established in cooperation of the International Organization of Turkic Culture  TURKSOY with the Anatolian University of  Eskisehir gave the first concert of its tour in Spain. 

In the concert which took place in the "Teatre Cirvianum" in Torello on December 29th, 2017 
 artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey enchanted the audience with their brilliant performance. the orchestra composed of musicians of the Turkic World accompanied the soprano Nazym Sagyntay performing under the   Kazak conductor Aidar Torybaev. With their colourful performance, artists of the Turkic World received standing ovations from the audience.

The first part of the concert featured  world classics such as  “Die Fledermaus", "Persischer Marsch", "Tik Tak Polka", "Chinesen Gallop", "Kaiser Waltzer" by J. Brahms,   “Il Bacio" by L. Arditi,  "Giuditta” by F. Lehàr. In the second part of the concert, artists of the Turkic World performed  J. Strauss’ “Unter Donner und Blitz", "Wiener Blut", "Die Fledermaus" , "Jubilee Festival Marsch”, E. Kàlmàn’s “Die Csardasfürstin, Das Veilchen Von Montmartre”, P. I. Tchaikovsky’s "Mazurka" and J. Brahms’ “Hungarian Dance  No.6”.

Nevit Kodally's "Telli Turna Suite", the Kazak "Nightingale" song by Latif Hamidi and the arrangement of Mustafa Sarısözen's folk song "Katibim" by the young Azerbaijani conductor  Mustafa Mehmandarov were particularly appreciated by the audience. 
With these colourful concerts featuring the  young soprano Nazym Sagyntay and the Anatolian Symphony Orchestra of TURKSOY, works by composers of the Turkic World were introduced to a large audience in  Spain.

 

 

Following its Youth Chamber Orchestra, Youth Choir and Orchestra of Folk Instruments which gave many successful concerts in various cities of Europe,  TURKSOY established its Anatolian Symphony Orchestra which took the scene for the first time in  Eskisehir on December 25th, 2017. Within the framework of its tour in Spain, the Anatolian Symphony Orchestra of TURKSOY gathering young talents of the Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY and the Symphony Orchestra of the Anatolian University will give six concerts  in Torello (Barcelona), Granada, Ceuta, Yecla (Murcia) and Segovia between  December 29th, 2017 and January 9th, 2018.
