The Anatolian Symphony Orchestra of TURKSOY gave its first concert
The Orchestra composed of young talents of the Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY and the Symphony Orchestra of the Anatolian University gave its first concert in Eskisehir.
The concert took place in the presence of TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov and the Rector of the Anatolian University Prof. Dr. Naci Gundogan along with many guests. In the concert which took place in the Concert Hall of the Ataturk Culture and Art Center of the Anatolian University, artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey took their audience onto an unforgettable musical journey. The soprano Nazym Sagyntay and artists of the Anatolian Symphony Orchestra of TURKSOY who performed under the Kazak conductor Aidar Torybaev were particularly appreciated by the audience.
The colourful programme of the concert featured classics of the Turkic World such as Nevit Kodally's "Telli Turna Suite", the Kazak "Nightingale" song by Latif Hamidi and the arrangement of Mustafa Sarısözen's folk song "Katibim" by the young Azerbaijani conductor Mustafa Mehmandarov which received standing ovations from the audience.
Following its Youth Chamber Orchestra, Youth Choir and Orchestra of Folk Instruments which gave many successful concerts in various cities of Europe, TURKSOY established its Anatolian Symphony Orchestra which took the scene for the first time in Eskisehir on December 25th, 2017. Within the framework of its tour in Spain, the Anatolian Symphony Orchestra of TURKSOY gathering young talents of the Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY and the Symphony Orchestra of the Anatolian University will give six concerts in Torello (Barcelona), Granada, Ceuta, Yecla (Murcia) and Segovia between December 29th, 2017 and January 9th, 2018.
