Joyful celebration of the Cooperation Day of Turkic Speaking Countries in Kazakhstan

The Cooperation Day of Turkic Speaking Countries was celebrated with various  joyful events in Kazakhstan on October 3rd, 2017. Within this framework, concerts were held in Shymkent and Turkistan, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2017.

The events aiming at the strengthening of ties of friendship and brotherhood among Turkic speaking countries with a view to transmitting Turkic culture  and art to future generations took place with the contribution of artists from  Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tatarstan (RF), Bashkortostan (RF), Sakha-Yakutia (RF), Tyva (RF) and Kazakhstan.

At the events where TURKSOY was represented by its Representative of Kazakhstan  Mr. Askar Turganbayev ensembles and artists of the Turkic World including "Akak" from Kyrgyzstan, the People's Artist of the Russian Federation and the Tyva Republic  Ondar Mongun Ool, the folk musicians  Cengiz Bütün and Hasan Kurtuluş Gözütok from Turkey, the Mugam Ensemble of Azerbaijan,  Aydar Valeyev from Tatarstan (RF),  Juliana Krivoshapkina from Sakha-Yakutia (RF), the "Besparmak" ensemble from Bashkortostan (RF) along with more than 10 nartists and ensembles from Kazakhstan  took the audience onto a colourful journey through melodies from all corners of the Turkic World.

October 3rd, 2009 is the date on which the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking Countries (Turkic Council) was established through the siganture of the Nakhchivan Agreement. Since then, this day declared as Cooperation Day of Turkic Speaking Countries  has been celebrated  throughout the Turkic World.
