The Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY gave its first concert in Etimesgut
The Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY gave its first concert in Turkey this year within the framework of the 14th International Festival of Anatolian Culture and Art. At the opening event of the festival held on August 11th, 2017, singers of the Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY raised great enthusiasm among the audience gathering more than ten thousand people.
The choir took the scene on the first day of the festival following its opening ceremony and was extremely appreciated by the audience.
TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov who delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the festival said that TURKSOY has been cooperating with the municipality of Etimesgut for many years and added: "Today, we are contributing to your festival with our Youth Chamber Choir. It is great pleasure for us to introduce different artists of the Turkic World to you every year. I extend my deepest gratitude to the Mayor of Etimesgut Mr. Enver Demirel for organizing such a wonderful festival. I hope that this festival will be held for many years in the future as it plays a pioneer role in the promotion and preservation of Turkic culture and art".
The 14th International Festival of Anatolian Culture and Art will last for ten days and feature colourful performances of ensembles from Anatolia and Turkic republics.
Following its first concert, the Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY will take the scene once again in Ankara on August 13th, 2017. The concert which will take place in the Arı Studio of the TRT channel will be free of charge.
