Visit of TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Yusuf to the Maarif Education Complex in Bishkek

Mr. Sayit Yusuf, the Deputy Secretary General of the International Organisation of Turkic Culture TURKSOY, visited the Bishkek Maarif Education Complex withiin th framework of his meetings in Bishkek.

The visit gathered Nazira Esenalieva Soltonbekovna, the Rector of the Maarif Education Complex; Deputy-Rectors Tillekov Seitbek Manasoviç (Responsible for Educational Affairs) and Kerimakunov Edilbek Şerimbekoviç (Responsible for Administrative Affairs); the Rector's Advisor Nariste Aliyeva Muratovna; the Representative of Kyrgyzstan at the Maarif Foundation of Türkiye (TMV) Hüsnü Bircan, and the Director of the Maarif Education Complex Mehmet Çerçikaya.

In  the meeting, information was provided about the Turkish Maarif Foundation's educational activities and projects in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf expressed his appreciation to the Maarif Foundation Schools for their work in the field of education, stating that: ‘It is gratifying to see that the Maarif Foundation is successfully carrying out TURKSOY's mission to unite the culture of the Turkic World in the field of education. The shared values of these two institutions are of great importance for our future.’

The visit ended with a discussion on opportunities of cooperation in the fields of culture and education between the parties and an exchange of ideas on joint projects.
