Visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the TRNC to TURKSOY
On October 30th, 2026, Mr. Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, visited the Headquarters of the International Organisation of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) and met with Secretary General Sultan Raev.
Issues discussed in the meeting focused on cultural cooperation between TURKSOY and the TRNC, as well as on efforts to promote Turkish Cypriot culture within the Turkic World.
Minister Ertuğruloğlu expressed his strong appreciation as to activities carried out by TURKSOY in recent years and congratulated Secretary General Sultan Raev for his strong commitment to the cultural integration of the Turkic World.
Secretary General Raev who highlighted the significant role of the TRNC in activities of TURKSOY stated that the cooperation aimed at the promotion of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkish Cypriot people and the strengthening of shared cultural ties will continue.
