Visit of the Deputy Chairman of the AK Party Prof. Dr. Kürşat Zorlu to TURKSOY
Prof. Dr. Kürşat Zorlu, the Deputy Chairman of the AK Party in charge of the Turkic World paid a visit to Mr. Sultan Raev, the Secretary General of the International Organisation for Turkic Culture (TURKSOY).
Issues discussed in the meeting held in the presence of Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf in TURKSOY headquarters pertained to forthcoming initiatives of the Organisation as well as to the future of the Turkic World.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Kürşat Zorlu offered the book on “Relations between Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan on the 35th Anniversary of its independence” which he personally edited. The book which is now part of the literature of the Turkic World also features an article written by Sultan Raev entitled ‘From Shared Roots to a Vision for the Future: Cultural Diplomacy and Strategic Integration between Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan’.

Expressing his pleasure to welcome the Deputy Chairman of the AK Party Prof. Dr Kürşat Zorlu in TURKSOY Headquarters along with his appreciation as to the publication of this work, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev highlighted the importance of shared cultural ties and said: “It is a great pleasure to know that an article of mine has been included in this significant work by my dear friend Prof. Dr. Kürşat Zorlu who invested great effort, dedication and scholarly rigour in it. Dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the unshakeable bonds of brotherhood between Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan, this valuable work is a historic document which will further strengthen cultural bridges between our respective countries. Every step taken through writing, ideas and scholarship towards building the shared future of the Turkic World is of unmeasurable value for us.”
At the end of the both parties agreed upon new steps to be taken towards the shared future of the Turkic World and mutually expressed their good wishes before a photograph was taken as a remembrance of the day.
