Visit of the Association of Support and Cooperation of Balkan Turks to TURKSOY
A delegation of the Association of Support and Cooperation of Balkan Turks headed by its President Aygün Ilko and composed of its Vice President Nedim Vardar along with its President in charge of Women's Issues Gülistan Şerefler as well as its Secretary General Ali Yurtseven and its Board Member Melih Bayram Ilko paid a visit to TURKSOY Deputy General Secretary Sayit Yusuf in his office.
During the visit, the delegation made a comprehensive presentation on past and future projects of the association in the Turkic World and the Balkans. President Aygün Ilko shared information about the association's national and international activities and extended an invitation to events to celebrate ‘UNESCO’s World Turkic Language Family Day on December 15th’ and ‘The Day of Education in Turkish Language in North Macedonia on December 21st’ which are part of the calendar of activities of the association in December this year. Members of the delegation also carefully listened to views and recommendations of TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf.
At the end of the visit, the delegation handed over a plaquette to Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf stating ‘Brother of the Turkic World’ on behalf of the board of directors of the association in recognition of his dedicated work for the Turkic World.
