Visit of the Ambassador of Bangladesh H. E. Mr. Amanul Haq to TURKSOY Headquarters

The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Türkiye H. E.  M. Amanul Haq visited TURKSOY and met with Secretary General Sultan Raev and Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf.

Secretary General, Sultan Raev who said that  Bangladesh is an important country of the Far East expressed his pleasure to welcome the Ambassador of Bangladesh in TURKSOY Headquarters.

Emphasising that Bangladesh and Bangladesh have a common history in certain periods of history, Mr.  Raev further  pointed out  common cultural features of the Turkic World and Bangladesh. Stating that the Organisation is ready for cooperation and joint projects with Bangladesh, which has a rich cultural heritage, Mr. Raev said that Bangladesh has the potential to become TURKSOY's gateway to the East.

The Ambassador of Bangladesh H. E.  M. Amanul Haq who also pointed out that Bangladesh and the Turkic World have very close relations further expressed their readiness to cooperate with TURKSOY and invited TURKSOY Secretary General Raev to his country to meet with the Ministry of Culture of Bangladesh and other officials.

Ambassador Haq who also stressed that they are in close cooperation with TURKSOY member countries and that he is familiar with activities carried out by  TURKSOY through the international organisations he has worked with before, further noted that Bangladesh is ready to carry out a joint cultural event together with TURKSOY in 2024.

The meeting ended with the presentation of souvenirs as a remembrance of the day.
