TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf assessed the Turkic World Agenda on TRT Avaz

Mr. Sayit Yusuf, the Deputy Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY talked about TURKSOY and the Turkic World in the television show “A Cup of Coffee, A Thousand News” hosted by Coşkun Özen and broadcasted live on TRT Avaz.

The TV Show comprehensively addressed the establishment of TURKSOY , the common cultural ties of the Turkic World, its future vision, and activities of strategic cooperations being carried out. Within this framework, activities of the 42nd Term carried out in 2025 and more particularly those held in “Aktau, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World were discussed. In addition, the latest information was shared regarding the designation of Andijan, the city of Uzbekistan declared as Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2026 for the 43rd term of activities of the Organization.

The Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World is an Inspiring Model for Humanity

In his speech, Deputy Secretary General Yusuf underlined the fact that the mission of TURKSOY is to strengthen cultural interaction among Turkic peoples and create a lasting unity based on their shared history and values.

Deputy Secretary General Yusuf further stated that the activities of the Organization are carried out based on an inspiring model blending the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic World with an understanding of peace and coexistence. Deputy Secretary General Yusuf who also touched upon the strategic importance of efforts to adopt a “common alphabet” to facilitate communication in the Turkic World added that reviving this heritage in today's conditions will raise awareness about a common linguistic consciousness. Mr. Yusuf who further drew attention to Youth Gatherings of TURKSOY carried out within the framework of the vision of the Organization regarding  young people of the Turkic World, stated that these projects offer a precious opportunity to develop lasting friendships and a common consciousness among decision makers of the future.

At the end of the TV show, Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf stated that TRT Avaz has taken on a critical mission as the common voice of the Turkic World and “the voice of Turkic peoples” and expressed his gratitude to the TRT Avaz Channel and presenter Coşkun Özen for their kind invitation.
