The Orchestra of Traditional Instruments of TURKSOY enchanted the audiemce in Berlin

The gala concert, organised under the auspices of TURKSOY  with the support of TIKA, the Yunus Emre Institute and the Cultural Center of Azerbaijan took   music lovers of  Berlin onto an unforgettable journey through melodies of the Turkiic World.

The concert featured works such as ‘Adai’ from Kazakhstan, ‘Mash Botoy’ from Kyrgyzstan, and ‘Doira Raqs’ from Uzbekistan, as well as melodies of common folk songs like ‘Sarı Gelin,’ performed by artists from member countries. Artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, and Turkmenistan enchanted the audience with their performances, while traditional dance performances highlighted the evening.

The bağlama player Erdal Akkaya, Azerbaijani soloists Nisbet Sadrayeva and Safali Mirzaliyev, the Kazakh artist Aigerim Sharipbek, the Turkish soloist Nilgün Kızılcı, the Uzbek percussionist Bekzod Shavkatov, and the solo dancer Charos Djurabaeva were strongly appreciated by the audience for their colourful  performances.

The event, attended by Ambassadors of TURKSOY member countries in Berlin and a large number of distinguished guests, once again highlighted the cultural richness and of the Turkic World and the brotherhood of its peoples.
