The MP and Chairman of the Cultural Committee of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan Prof. Dr. Ganire Pashayeva passed away.

The passing of Prof. Dr. Ganire Pashayeva, whose heart beat with the love of Azerbaijan and the Turkic World, who adopted the brotherhood of Turkic peoples as her motto, who worked for the promotion of our rich culture and art, and who made unique efforts for the unity and solidarity of our peoples and countries, has caused deep sorrow to the all volunteers of the Turkic World as well as to all staff members of TURKSOY.

Mrs. Ganire Pashayeva, the Chairman of the Cultural Committee of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan who was one of the close working partners of TURKSOY and one of the most important supporters of  activities organised for the promotion of Turkic peoples in Azerbaijan and the promotion of Azerbaijani culture in the world  had also carried out many successful activities together with our Organisation.

We wish Allah's mercy to Mrs. Ganire Pashayeva, who reached major achievements throughout her short life and left behind a considerable heritage  for the next generations, and express  our condolences to her family, beloved ones and the entire Turkic World.
