The Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026 has begun: Global leaders gathered in Antalya
The 5th Diplomacy Forum of Antalya (ADF 2026), organised under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, started with an opening ceremony held in Antalya.
Held under the motto “Managing Uncertainty While Shaping the Future”, the forum stands out as a key diplomatic platform bringing together leaders, diplomats and decision-makers on a global scale. Mr. Sultan Raev, Secretary General of TURKSOY who also attended the forum held various talks with participants.
This year’s edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum is being attended by over 5,000 participants from more than 150 countries. The forum will feature over 20 heads of state and government, more than 50 ministers, 75 representatives of international organisations and over 460 high-level figures, with more than 40 panels and sessions scheduled to take place over three days.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, President Erdoğan emphasised that the Antalya Diplomacy Forum has evolved beyond being merely a platform for diplomatic engagement to become a “common ground for collective wisdom” where solutions to global challenges are sought. It was noted that the forum plays a significant role in strengthening international cooperation and establishing global peace.
Through contacts it has established within the framework of the forum, the International Organisation of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) also aims at enhancing the visibility of the Turkic World in the field of cultural diplomacy while further deepening cooperation among member countries.
