Secretary General Raev was Honoured with the Hungarian Order of Merit

Mr. Sultan Raev, Secretary General of the International Organisation of Turkic Culture TURKSOY, was honoured with the Hungarian Order of Merit which is one of Hungary's highest state decorations.

This high honour, awarded upon proposal of the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the decision of the Hungarian President Dr. Tamás Sulyok, was presented to Secretary General Raev by the Minister of Culture and Innovation of Hungary Mr. Balázs Hankó in a ceremony.

The Hungarian Order of Merit is awarded to individuals in recognition of their significant contribution to Hungary's cultural, scientific, and diplomatic relations. Secretary General Raev was deemed worthy of this honour for his valuable contributions to the strengthening of cultural ties between the Turkic World and Hungary, as well as for his efforts to promote the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic World and Hungary.
