Secretary General Raev met with the Minister of Culture of Mongolia Chinbat Nomin

Secretary General Raev, who is in Mongolia for official visits, exchanged views on TURKSOY's activities in Mongolia during his meeting with Minister of Culture Chinbat Nomin.

 
In the meeting, Secretary General Raev underlined that TURKSOY is ready to do whatever necessary  to strengthen the bridge between Mongolia and the Turkic World and underlined that there are many elements of the common culture  and history of  the Turkic World  and Mongolia on the territory of the latter and that these should be explored and introduced to the world. Secretary General Raev further said: ‘All channels of cultural diplomacy through TURKSOY should be used between Mongolia and the Turkic World. we will accelerate our efforts to introduce the Mongolian culture to the Turkic World and the common Turkic World culture to Mongolia, to accelerate cultural exchange by organising events. Moreover, Mongolia and the Turkic World are branches of a tree fed by the same historical and cultural source.’ 
 

Mr. Chinbat Nomin, the Minister of Culture of Mongolia, stated that during his official visits to the Turkic World he frequently attended  activities and events of TURKSOY and that he would be pleased to carry out joint activities and concrete projects with TURKSOY as the Ministry of Culture of Mongolia. During the meeting, Minister Nomin further  stated that Mongolia  would like to cooperate with TURKSOY regarding the organization of a performance  of the play entitled “Mongolian Khan” in the Turkic World, which was prepared by his Ministry to introduce  Mongolian culture to the world, and expressed their readiness to provide all necessary support in this respect. In addition, Minister Nomin told Secretary General Raev that the contribution  of Mongolian artists to  activities of TURKSOY would be highly appreciated and that his ministry would provide the necessary support in this regard too. On this occasion, Minister Nomin  also announced that the necessary steps as to the admission of Mongolia as an observer member country of TURKSOY have  already been taken.
