Secretary General Raev met with the Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mährijemal Mämmedowa

The delegation of TURKSOY headed by its Secretary General  Sultan Raev came together with the Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mährijemal Mämmedowa in a working meeting

In  the meeting held in the premises of the Council of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairperson Mährijemal Mämmedowa congratulated Secretary General Raev on the events organised by TURKSOY within the framework of the Year of Magtumguly Fragi and thanked him for his visit.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on  events to be carried out by TURKSOY in the coming months within the framework of  Anew, the  Cultural Capital of Turkic World 2024 and the  300th Anniversary of Magtumguly Fragi.

Deputy Chairperson  Mämmedowa who stated that Turkmenistan will provide all necessary support to events to be carried out by TURKSOY and expressed her pleasure to host  large-scale events  such as the  Permanent Council of TURKSOY and the Korkut Ata Turkic World Film Festival in Turkmenistan, which will be held simultaneously with  closing events of Anew, the Cultural Capital of Turkic World 2024.

The working meeting took place in the presence of the Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Atageldi Shamuradov and senior bureaucrats who will be in charge of events to be organised in Turkmenistan in the upcoming period.
