“Second Festival of Theater Students of the Turkic World" to be held in Azerbaijan

Organised in cooperation of  TURKSOY with the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Fine Arts, the "2nd  Festival of Theatre Students of the Turkic World"gathering  young theatre artists from the Turkic World, will be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on May 20th-22nd, 2024.

The festival, which will be held in cooperation of  TURKSOY with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan State University of Civilisation and Fine Arts (ADMIU) will feature performances of  young actors and actresses  from the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Fine Arts, the T. Jurgenov Kazakh National University of Fine Arts, the Theatre College of the T. Abdumomunov  National Academic Drama Theatre of Kyrgyzstan, the Uzbekistan State Institute of Culture and Fine Arts and the Ankara State Conservatory of the Hacettepe University  who will present their acting skills to  art lovers of Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the festival, a meeting of the "Union of Art Universities of the Turkic World" established upon initiative of TURKSOY will also be held.
