Prof. Dr. Mahmut F. Akşit underlined the importance of Unity and Technology at the Youth Forum of the Turkic World

One of the highlights of the Youth Forum of the Turkic World held in Bishkek were the motivational speeches. In the speech he delivered at the event, Prof. Dr. Mahmut F. Akşit, the General Manager of TUSAŞ / TEI from Türkiye, addressed young people and touched upon the evolution of the defense industry of Türkiye and the great achievements it reached in this field.

Prof. Dr. Akşit, whose speech was frequently interrupted by applause, emphasized the strategic importance of unity in the Turkic World, stating that joint technological progress and scientific cooperation are the most critical steps for the future. Refering to examples of Türkiye's progress in the aviation and defense industries in recent years, Prof. Dr. Akşit inspired young people with a broad perspective ranging from UAVs to jet engines, national helicopters to space studies.

Prof. Dr. Akşit  further said: “It is thanks to our collective wisdom, faith, courage, and determination that we have reached this point today” and noted that young Turkic people have the potential to shape the future both in their own country and throughout the Turkic World.
