Photo of the 8th Women and Fashion Festival of the Turkic World published in The Guardian

In the “Photos of the Day” section of its issue of July 2nd, 2025, the well-established British newspaper "The Guardian" published a photograph taken by Ilkin Eskipehlivan from the Anatolian News Agency at the 8th Women and Fashion Festival of the Turkic World organised by TURKSOY in Aktau.

Within the framework of the 8th Women and Fashion Festival of the Turkic World, numerous renowned designers from Turkic countries gathered in Aktau, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2025. 

The colourful festival featured wonderful garments combining ethnic patterns with a modern design skillfully manufactured by designers of the Turkic World such as Konul Humbatova from Azerbaijan, Asılcan Kambarova from Kyrgyzstan, Nargiza Musacanova from Uzbekistan, Gözde İşbilir and Şule Aydın from Türkiye, Ayna Durdılliyeva from Turkmenistan, Suvd Banzragç from Mongolia, and Tünde Hrivnak from Hungary amongst others. Indeed, designers from the Russian Federation such as Albina Jerlitsina from Bashkortostan, Kima Dongak from Tuva, and Nataliya Posinkina from Chuvashia highlighted the event with their unique  creations. 

Kazakhstan, the host country of the festival, was successfully represented by talented designers such as Nurjamal Nurpeysova, Ayjan Sembigaleyeva, Tarbiya Aydımbayeva, Medina Saktaganova, Madina Massakova, Jıldız Tabnayeva and Aynur Abdihanova.
