Message conveyed by Secretary General Sultan Raev on the anniversary of the birthday of Zahirüddin Muhammed Babür

Secretary General Sultan Raev conveyed a message on the anniversary of the birthday of Zahirüddin Muhammed Babür. In his message, Secretary General Sultan Raev said:

Today, we honour the birthday of Zahirüddin Muhammad Babür, one of the great figures of the Turkic World, a commander, statesman and enlightened ruler whose heart was moulded with poetry.
 

Babür is a source of pride not only for his own nation but also for the whole Turkic World. His ‘Bâbürnâme’ which sheds light on the history of that period, is also a literary masterpiece which reflects  feelings in the depths of one's soul. Mughal's poetry, thoughts, courage and literary heritage is the heritage of agreat civilisation. Even today, his verses make people think and evoke deep feelings about life, love, homeland and loyalty.
 

Mughal conquered countries  with his sword and conquered hearts with his words. His works full of wisdom, sacrifice and endless love for literature and the literary heritage he left behind are a bridge uniting  Turkic peoples today. Despite  centuries that have passed, his voice still echoes and his spirit lives with us.
 

Hence, TURKSOY  honours the name of Zahir al-Din Muhammad Mughal with deep respect and continue to keep his legacy alive in the Turkic World. His contributions to science, culture and art will continue to be a guiding light for future generations.
 

On this meaningful day, we urge all Turkic peoples to be inspired by   Mughal's  works, to keep his rich cultural and literary heritage alive and pass it on to future generations. Mughal's name, art  and thoughts will always remain alive  in our memories as we will remember him forever as a source of pride for the entire Turkic World.
