Meaningful award of Turkish Cultural Centers handed over to Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf

In a ceremony held on on April 19th, 2025 at the Historical Building of Turkish Cultural Centers artists and intellectual of the Turkic received various awards in recognition of their prescious contribution to Turkic culture.

Within the framework of the ceremony held in the Headquarters  of Turkish Cultural Centers upon decision of its Board of Directors, TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf received the “Ismail Gaspıralı Award for Unity in Language, Ideas and Actions” in recognition of his activities in the fields of language, culture and ideas in the Turkic World.

Delivering a statement at the award ceremony, Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf said: "We are deeply honored to see that our dedication to the creation of our common language, common culture and common future is being appreciated by such a well-established institution and it is a great honor for me to receive such an award in line with the very ideal which led to the  establishment of the Republic.  This award also reminded me of what still needs to be done and with this strong motivation, I will be working on it from now on. Thank you."

The award ceremony was followed by the 47th Ordinary General Assembly of Turkish Cultural Centers.
