International Painters' Gathering featuring "Colours of Gagauzia" organized with the contribution of TURKSOY

The opening ceremony of the International Painters' Gathering dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Autonomous Tedrritorial Unit of Gagauzia (Moldova) featuring “Colours of Gagauzia” was held on August 19th,  2024 at the Local  Gallery of Fine Arts in  Comrat, the capital of Gagauzia.

The main topics of the event, organised by the Cultural Administration of Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia (Moldova) and supported by TURKSOY, were ‘Contemporary Gagauzia’, ‘Nature of Gagauzia’, ‘Traditions and Customs of the Gagauz People’.

Mrs. Marina Semyonova, the Head of the  Cultural Administration of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia (Moldova) who delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony of the International Painters' Gathering “Colours of Gagauzia - 2024”  with the participation of ten artists from Gagauzia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye  conveyed the greetings and wishes of success of TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev to the participants. Within the framework of the Gathering which will go on until August 27th, 2024 and feature an exhibition of works resulting  thereform,  participants will have the opportunity to visit different regions of Gagauzia and depict  impressions of its  culture, traditions, history and landscapes.
