During the festival which lasted 4 days, various sports and cultural events were organised among young people, creating an opportunity for interaction and mutual acquaintance among the young citizens of the Turkic world.

At the festival hosted by the Kokand University, a special message of TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev was  conveyed by the Expert of TURKSOY for Visual Communication Mr. Volkan Yeşilay to  young people attending the event:

"Dear young people,

As the architects of our bright future, each and every one of you give us hope with your presence!

I greet you with love, affection and longing. Welcome to the "International Youth Festival of the Turkic World".

Dear young people;

We, Turkic peoples, are a nation that grows by multiplying like a drop falling from the sky to the ground, mixing into rivers and seas and dividing into branches and giving branches from the same root. In the light of the teachings left to us by our distant ancestors, we have discovered who we are and our great power. Overcoming the times when we were separated, we are now united as Turkic States. As  young people who  gathered here today, you are the best example of this unity!

The International Organization of Turkic Culture  carries out many activities aiming at youn people. In the meantime, we know very well that the success achieved by the Turkic World will be realized by guiding young people in the right way from today to the future. We should always be more determined to support our young people to interact with the rest of the world and to achieve the best distribution in the world conjuncture through adequate consumption of opportunities.

TURKSOY, as one of the first established and one of the most active international organisations in the Turkic World, carries out many management projects for our youth. We are planning to launch an expanded youth programmes with the "Young Turkic Vision", which we are currently working on and will soon share with the public. By strengthening deeper, more integrated and perspective-oriented fraternity ties among our youth, we are trying to work on our ideal which is to walk together towards the future with more confident steps.

We recently organised the Turkic World Painting Competition "Through the Eyes of Young Painters" with the participation of many countries from the Turkic World and announced the results. The essay competition we organized among our young people also attracted a lot of attention. We were so touched by all the works we received that we had the chance to read and understand how our young people feel life and their inner feelings.

Dear Young People of the Turkic World!

It is an important task for our civilisation to convey the love and unity between our peoples to our future generations through all kinds of means by perceiving and respecting the acquisition of differences. The Turkish nation, which has existed at every stage of history, has come to this day with a unique cultural leadership. We should endeavour to capture this vast treasure together with our interaction in certain fields such as history, culture, tourism, literature, art, tradition and customs. That is why we find such meetings very important.
Thanks to this festival, we would like you to realise how bright the future of the Turkic World is and that new opportunities are now even closer! We are together and strength comes from unity! Our states and organisations are working day and night to create new fields and opportunities for you, our young people, by weaving the future in every field.

Our ancestors, with their political genius and superior success on the battlefields, have transcended their own limits, conquered many lands, reached major achievements and established states from Asia to Europe. Our great Turkic ancestors expect a lot from us. The Balbals standing in the middle of the steppe have transmitted the words of these heroic ancestors to the present time. The words of great geniuses such as Kultigin, Bilge Khan as well as other  illustrious heroes who addressed you from beyond the ages are still valid even in this century. As young people, you should work hard to be worthy of the trust of our ancestors!

Dear young people,

You are the  architects of our future!

Our arms now reach out to each other and to the whole world with love. We have a huge Turkic history full of glory and honour behind us, and many years ahead of us to spend in unity and solidarity with our common population of three hundred and fifty million.  I hope that you, our esteemed young people, will carry the awareness of this great responsibility in your hearts and will be able to  carry out highly  competitive and successful works in the fields of science and research with your innovative ideas in harmony with the youth of the world.

From the shore of this unity that our great ancestors longed for, we call out to the world with all our faith. From now on, the Turkic World will continue to carry its ties from the past with all its heart, and will embrace the whole world with the feelings of unity, solidarity, love, brotherhood, brotherhood and justice that are in our essence.

Long Live  Young people of the Turkic World!

May our Bright Future be Blessed!
