Erkin Vohidov's play ‘Rebellion of Souls’ performed at the Kadikoy theatre hall in Istanbul

As part of their educational trip, students of the School No. 11 the city of Navoyi in the province of  Navoyi, winners of the final stage of the ‘Turan Mektep Theater’ competition held throughout Uzbekistan, staged Erkin Vohidov's play ‘Rebellion of Souls’ at the Kadikoy theatre hall in Istanbul.

The performance raised great interest among the Uzbek diaspora and students in Türkiye.
The theatre performance and educational programme was organised in cooperation of  the International Organisation of Turkic Culture TURKSOY with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The play ‘Rebellion of Souls’ written by the famous Uzbek munsavi Erkin Vahidov and dealing with the tense relationship between a visually impaired elderly patient and his doctor was successfully performed by the students who received  standing ovations for several minutes. Consul General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul Sherzod Abdunazarov, the representative of  The event was attended by TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev and officials of the Ministry of National Education.
