Declaration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov: "Today, TURKSOY is the embodiment of the power which resides in our spirit and our culture.”
"Cultural Days of TURKSOY" organized by TURKSOY in Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the celebrations of its 30th anniversary came to an end.
Cultural Days of TURKSOY dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of TURKSOY which ended with the Gala Concert "We are Together" held at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth of Kyrgyzstan, were highly appreciated by Kyrgyz art lovers.
In the message he conveyed to congratulate TURKSOY on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov emphasised the importance of TURKSOY's activities for the promotion of the culture and art of Turkic peoples around the world and its recognition in the international arena today and said that "TURKSOY, which introduces the golden heritage of the brotherly peoples in the field of culture and art to the world, is proudly known as the "UNESCO of the Turkic World"".
President Japarov's message which was read by the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic Suyunbek Kasmambetov further stressed the importance of the unity of Turkic peoples which is strengthened by TURKSOY as it acts as a golden cultural bridge between kindred peoples and said: "We are together! - Of course, we are together, we are two wings of one bird, our aim is unity, solidarity, peace and brotherhood. We feel the power of unity only when we are one!"

First of all, I sincerely congratulate and welcome you on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the cultural cooperation of the Turkic World and the International Organisation of Turkic Culture TURKSOY!

The International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY is the first international organisation to have been established in the Turkic World.
The decision to establish TURKSOY was taken in Almaty in 1993 with the support of the Presidents of Turkic States. This organisation, which is almost the same age as the independence of our countries, has become a spiritual golden bridge uniting peoples whose language, culture, history and traditions are close to each other.
The main objective of TURKSOY is to develop and strengthen cultural relations of the Turkic World while promoting them worldwide to to foster cultural integration. Over the past thirty years, TURKSOY has become a reputable organisation in the international arena. In this context, it plays a major role in the development and dissemination of Turkic culture. Today, member countries of TURKSOY are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan. Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Altai, Sakha, Tyva, Khakassia and Gagauzia have an observer status.
The mission of the organisation is to revive our spiritual unity, preserve the culture of peoples of the same origin and to transmit it to future generations as our common heritage . Introducing the golden heritage of kindred peoples in the field of culture and art to the world, TURKSOY can proudly be called the "UNESCO of the Turkic World".
Today, all Turkic countries fly the flag of their national culture under the auspices of TURKSOY and glorify our culture in the world as an integral part of human culture. TURKSOY has turned from a local organisation into a global organisation and has become a close partner of world organisations such as the UN, UNESCO and ICESCO.
In 2022, TURKSOY has reached a high level in the world cultural, humanitarian and social forums by actively participating in the "Alliance of Civilisations" of the United Nations. TURKSOY is reviving its activities not only in the field of culture and arts, but also in the field of intercultural dialogue and socio-cultural areas, which are important issues of our time. At the same time, its progress in terms of its contribution to world culture and modernization is worthy of support. For TURKSOY, 30 years is not just history. Development can only occur where culture is respected and appreciated, this is the history of our culture. This is why we have organised Cultural Days of TURKSOY under the motto “We are together!”. Of course, we are together, we are two wings of one bird, our goal is unity, solidarity, peace, brotherhood. We feel the power of unity only when we are one!
TURKSOY is the embodiment of the power which resides in our spirit and our culture. This power has become the mission and symbol of the International Organization of Turkic Culture! Today, the music of the entire Turkic world will be heard on this important stage and we will once again witness the victory of our common culture!
