Commemorative Message in memory of the late Founding and Honorary President of the Authors' Association of Türkiye

We hereby commemorate the late D. Mehmet Doğan, founding and honorary president of the Authors' Association of Türkiye, author, poet, and philosopher, one of the exceptional figures of our intellectual world, with gratitude and respect on the first anniversary of his passing.

TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev issued the following statement in memory of D. Mehmet Doğan:

"On the anniversary of his passing, I hereby wish to pay tribute to D. Mehmet Doğan, the founding president of the Authors' Association of Türkiye, a notable author whom we remember with gratitude and respect  for his valuable contributions to the intellectual and literary life of the Turkic World 

Mehmet Doğan dedicated his life to Turkish language, literature and culture; he left a lasting heritage behind  with his works, ideas and the generations he raised. His efforts have been appreciated not only in Türkiye but also throughout the Turkic world, contributing to the strengthening of our common cultural heritage.

His name and ideas will live on in our hearts, and the inspiring legacy he left behind will be guiding future generations."
