Commemoration of the statesman Ishak Razakov under the auspices of TURKSOY

Within the framework of the project "Illustrious Personalities of Kindred peoples", an international conference dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birthday of the famous statesman Ishak Razakov, a prominent political figure of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, was held under the auspices of TURKSOY, the Namangan State University and the Kyrgyz-Uzbek State University .
 

The conference featuring presentations by politologists and sociologists focused on  two main aspects which guided Ishak Razakov throughout his life and work namely Ishak Razakov's role in the formation of the modern state structure of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
 

On the occasion of the conference, the rectors Prof. Dr. Abdubayat Mammadykov and Prof. Dr. Sobithon Turgunov signed an agreement on the preservation and display of archaeological remains. Within the framework of the protocol,  universities of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are also expected to be  involved in a growing number of projects of mutual cooperation.
