Celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the Victory Day of the Republic of Türkiye

August 30th, the Victory Day of the Republic of Türkiye was celebrated with a ceremony on its 103rd anniversary.

In a ceremony held at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the Victory Day of the Republic of Türkiye, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan accepted congratulations from state officials, heads of foreign missions and representatives of international organisations.

The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş, the Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, the President of the Constitutional Court Kadir Özkaya, the President of the Court of Cassation Ömer Kerkez, the President of the Council of State Zeki Yiğit, the President of the Court of Accounts Metin Yener, members of the cabinet, the Chairman of the MHP Party Devlet Bahçeli, the Four Star General of the armed forces of the Republic of Türkiye Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Commanders in Chief of the armed forces of the Republic of Türkiye, the President of the Administration of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Ali Erbaş and the Director of Communications of the Office of the President  of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Burhanettin Duran as well as  heads of public institutions and other guests.

Mr. Sultan Raev, the Secretary General of the International Organisation of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) who was also present at the ceremony expressed his congratulations to President Erdoğan on behalf of the shared culture and brotherhood of the Turkic World.

At the end of the ceremony, during which the Band of the Presidential Guard Regiment performed various marches, military and civilian personnel expressed  their congratulations to President Erdoğan.
