TURKSOY Secretary General Raev met with local officials of Bursa

Mr. Sultan Raev, the Secretary General of the International Organization of the Turkic World (TURKSOY) met with local officials of Bursa, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2022.

The delegation of TURKSOY headed by its Secretary General  Raev and composed of its Deputy Secretary General  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilal Çakıcı along with the Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to  TURKSOY,  Prof. Dr. Kanat Mambetaliev met with the Governor of the Metropolitan Municipality of Bursa  Mr. Yakup Canbolat and the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality of Bursa Mr. Alinur Aktaş in their respective offices.

In the meetings, both parties discussed forthcoming activities to be carried out in  in cooperation of  TURKSOY with the Metropolitan Municipality of  Bursa in 2022.

At the end of the meeting of the delegation of TURKSOY with officials of Bursa, TURKSOY Secretary General  Sultan Raev handed over to the Governor of the he Metropolitan Municipality of Bursa  Mr. Yakup Canbolat and the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality of Bursa Mr. Alinur Aktaş the Medal of Chingis Aitmatov issued by TURKSOY on the occasion of the Year of Chingis Aitmatov it declared in  commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the birthday of the great Kyrgyz author in 2018 along with the TURKSOY's art album entitled "Reading Chingis Aitmatov", featuring paintings made by artists of the Turkic World based on their inspiration from works written by Aitmatov."
