Ord. Prof. Dr. Koshali Zarmanbetov’s exhibition “The Golden Cavalier” inaugurated at TURKSOY Headquarters
Ord. Prof. Dr. Koshali Zarmanbetov’s exhibition entitled “The Golden Cavalier” was inaugurated at TURKSOY Headquarters.
In the speech he delivered after the opening of the exhibitinon organized with the support of TURKSOY and the Nogai District Governorate of the Dagestan Republic, TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov said that TURKSOY is relentlessly carrying out its activities to strengthen ties of brotherhood among Turkic speaking peoples, introduce Turkic culture to the world and transmit our traditional values to future generations.
Secretary General Kasseinov who also stressed the fact that with events it carries out, TURKSOY contributes to the promotion of illustrious personalities who enriched Turkic culture, art and literature with their distinguished works further said: “It is within the framework of this commitment of ours that we are inaugurating the “Golden Cavalier” exhibition of the Nogai painter and sculptor Koshali Zarmanbetov today. He had already contributed to many other events of TURKSOY before. On January 28th, 2022, we have inaugurated the bust of the famous Nogai poet Kadriya Temirbulatova which he made and the inaugural ceremony took place in the Municipality of Çiftlikköy in Yalova in the presence of high level officials.”
Following his speech, Secretary General Kasseinov handed over to Ord. Prof. Dr. Koshali Zarmanbetov the medal of the famous Kazak scholar Abay Kunanbayev which was made by TURKSOY within the framework of the commemorative Year of Abay Kunanbayev it had declared in 2020 on the occasion of the 175th anniversary ofn his birthday.”
In his speech, the painter and sculptor Ord. Prof. Dr. Koshali Zarmanbetov who expressed his pride to be a member of Turkic people further said that throughout his carreer as an artist, he has been inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Turkic peoples and that he has always tried to depict items of this heritage in his works. Mr. Zarmanbetov who also expressed his gratitude to TURKSOY and its Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov for the importance they attach to the culture and art of the Nogai people further stressed his happiness as to the fact that his works are being discovered and appreciated by large audiences thanks to TURKSOY.
The speeches were followed by performances of Nogai songs and melodies featuring the famous singer and accordeon player of the Nogai people Begali Kuruptursunov and the young musician Edil Acıbayev.
