The inauguration of the Hibe Dede Memorial which took place within the framework of the cooperation between TURKSOY and the Embassy of Uzbekistan launched by the Municipality of   Ortahisar in 2020 gathered the Governor of Nevşehir  Inci Sezer Becel, the Mayor of Ortahisar Mustafa Ateş, the Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan  in Turkey Avazbek Khodjımetov, the Rector of the University of Cappadocia Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar, the Representative of Kazakhstan to TURKSOY  Bakıtjan Omarov and the Head of the Department of Administrative, Financial and Legal Affairs of TURKSOY  Mr. Sancar Mülazımoğlu along with many guests.

Forest fires which recently stroke Turkey were also on the agenda of the event. Indeed, together with artists of the Turkic World who came to Turkey to contribute to events dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkic Republics, members of the delegation of TURKSOY carried out a symbolic planting of saplings in the memorial forest of Ortahisar as a contribution to the restoration of our forests following the devastating fires. Within this framework, TURKSOY also made a donation of  700 saplings to the  TEMA Foundation.

The delegation of  TURKSOY then moved on to the Municiplaity of Ortahisar where it paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor  Mustafa Ateş together with artists of the Turkic World. At the end of the meeting, both parties mutually handed over souvenirs to eachother as a remembrance of the day.
