Mr. Tahir Salahov, one of the most famous painters of Azerbaijan passed away

It is with great sorrow that I have been informed of the passing away of the People's Artist of Azerbaijan Mr. Tahir Salahov who was one of the most famous painters of the Turkic World.

Indeed, this is a great loss for us all and we do regret his passing very much.

On behalf of the Secretariat General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture  TURKSOY, artists and intellectuals of the Turkic World  and myself, I hereby express my most sincere condolences to the family and beloved ones of Mr.  Tahir Salahov as well as to the people of Azerbaijan.
