TURKSOY Secretary General visited Seferihisar

TURKSOY Secretary General Kasseinov who went to Seferihisar within the framework of the opening of a photography exhibition of TURKSOY paid a visit to the Mayor of Seferihisar Mr. Ismail Yetişkin.

Thye Mayor who expressed his pleasure to welcome TURKSOY Secretary General in  Seferihisar said that activities of TURKSOY will be an opportunity for citizens of Seferihisar who are strongly interested in culture and art to get acqainted with the culture and art of the Turkic World.

Secretary General Kasseinov who expressed his happiness as to the fact that the Municipality of Seferihisar is working on the development of its cooperation  with TURKSOY further added that: “The photography exhibition of TURKSOY dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of  Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan will be displayed for the first time in Seferihisar and will then take place in other cities and districts of the Aegean region before moving on to other regions of Turkey to finally reach out to various countries of the world. TURKSOY will further foster its cooperation with  Seferihisar and carry out various other joint activities in the future."

In the meeting, Secretary General Kasseinov and  Mayor Yetişkin discussed future cooperation opportunities.

At the end of the meeting, Secretary General Kasseinov offered a souvenir plate of TURKSOY to the Mayor of  Seferihisar Mr. Ismail Yetişkin and the "Korkutname" featuring tales of Dede Korkut, the wise man of the Turkic World recounted in a poetic style by the poet Kenan Çarboğa  as well as the book featuring "Imadeddin Nesimi ın World Languages" published by TURKSOY  along with various recent publications of the International Organization of Turkic Culture.

The Mayor  Yetişkin offered to Secretary General Kasseinov a three dimensional portrait of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk made by craftsmen of Seferihisar.
