TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov met with Ambassadors of TURKSOY member countries in Ukraine

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in  Ukraine hosted a meeting which gathered TURKSOY Secretary General  Dusen Kasseinov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Caparova along with Ambassadors of TURKSOY member countries in Ukraine.

In the meeting, the Secretary General of TURKSOY, Ambassador Dusen Kasseinov informed ambassadors about activities planned by TURKSOY for 2021  within the framework of the 30th Anniversary of the independence of Turkic Republics. Ambassador Kasseinov drew attention to activities carried out to foster cooperation among Ukraine, institutions and organizations of Turkic Speaking Countries and international organizations of the Turkic World.

Secretary General who also stressed that TURKSOY is strengthening its ties with Ukraine also said that TURKSOY will be carrying out activities to also address Turkic communities living in Ukraine such as Azerbaijanis, Kazaks, Crimean Tatars and Gagauz people.

Ambassador Kasseinov added that within this framework, the 150th anniversary of the birthday of the Ukrainian orientalist and turcologist Agatangel Krımskiy who made  unique contributions to foster the culture traditions and language of Turkic peoples will be celebrated with various events of TURKSOY  in Ukraine as well as in TURKSOY member countries in 2021.

At the end of the meeting, TURKSOY Secretary General  Kasseinov offered some publications of TURKSOY to the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine H. E.  Elmira Ahundova, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine H. E. Darhan Kaletayev, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Ukraine H. E. Jusupbek Sharipov, the Ambassador of Turkey to Ukraine H. E.  Yağmur Ahmet Güldere and the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ukraine H. E.  Nurberdi Amanmuradov.

The meeting ended with a group photograph as a remebrance of the day.
