10th Anniversary of the International Turkic Academy

Below you can find the message of the Secretary General of TURKSOY, Mr. Dusen Kasseinov on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the International Turkic Academy

I hereby convey my most sincere congratulations to the International Turkic Academy on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its establishment.

The International Turkic Academy which was established 10 years ago upon the decision made at the Nakhchivan Summit has indeed achieved great success with various projects it has carried out since then and strongly contributed to the integration of Turkic peoples in academic and scientific terms. The publication of a book on the Common History of Turkic Peoples and its inclusion in the curricula of national education systems of the Turkic World and the worldwide promotion of scholars of the Turkic World along with the introduction of their work to future generations are just a few of the many successful achievements of the International Turkic Academy. Similarly, recent archeological research activities coordinated by the International Turkic Academy in the Altai region which is the cradle of Turkic civilization (Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Russia and China) are literally the herald of ground-breaking innovation in the field of Turcology.

Hence, I am confident that with 10 years of many considerable achievements and promising activities it is carrying out regarding the future, the International Turkic Academy will further pursue its successful path and I once again congratulate it on the 10th anniversary of its establishment on behalf of TURKSOY which is the first international organization to have been established in the field of Turkic cooperation as well as on behalf of all opinion leaders, scholars, artists and intellectuals of the Turkic World.
