Promotion of the book on “Three Pioneers of Kazakhstan” by TURKSOY in Kazakhstan
Various promotional events were held in Kazakhstan to introduce the book on Three Pioneers of Kazakhstan published by TURKSOY on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the birthday of Saken Seyfullin, Ilyas Jansugirov and Beyimbet Maylin.
The above-mentioned events featured a conference entitled “Saken Seyfullin: National Spirit and its Transmission to Future Generations” and dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birthday of the notable statesman of Kazakhstan Saken Seyfullin who was also one of the pioneers of the Alas movementof the Kazak people.
The conference held in the State University of Karagandy gathered TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov, the Governor of the Province of Karagandy Jenis Kasymbek, the Chairman of the Authors’ Union of Kazakhstan Ulykbek Esdaulet, members of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Ord. Prof. Hangeldy Abjanov and Mr. Oralbay Abdykarimov and Prof. Dr. Kulyash Ahmet from the Al Farabi Kazak National University along with many scholars, linguists, authors, historians, scholars and students.
The conference also featured the presentation of a book published by TURKSOY on Saken Seyfullin, Ilyas Jansugirov and Beyimbet Maylin, three of the leaders of the Alas movement of Kazakhstan within the framework of its activities to promote and introduce to young generations the legacy of illustrious personalities of the Turkic World who strongly contributed to the consolidation of national awareness.
In the speech he delivered at the conference, TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov who said that TURKSOY carries out activities to introduce the rich cultural heritage of Turkic peoples to the world and transmit it to future generations further stressed that this book featuring works by Saken Seyfullin, Ilyas Jansugirov and Beyimbet Maylin including poems and paintings was published in line with this commitment of TURKSOY as these three leaders are considered as heroes of the independence movement not only by the Kazak people but also in the Turkic World.
A presentation on the above-mentioned book published by TURKSOY also took place in a conference dedicated to Saken Seyfullin in the National University of Eurasia.
Conference on “Saken Seyfullin: Personality and Time” held in cooperation of the Saken Seyfullin Foundation and the National University of Eurasia.
The opening session of the conference featured speeches by TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev, the MP of Kazakhstan Sauytbek Abdrahmanov, the Chairman of the Committee of Social and Cultural Affairs of the National Assembly of Kazakhstan Beybit Mamrayev, the Chairman of the Authors’ Union of Kazakhstan Ulykbek Esdaulet, the Rector of the National University of Eurasia Erlan Sydykov, the Member of the Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan Abdyldajan Akmataliev, the Director of the Center of Science and Culture of Russia Konstantin Vorobyev and Prof. Dr. An San Hu from the Dan Kuk University of South Korea.
In the speech he delivered at the conference, Mr. Berdibek Saparbayev who stressed that tribute should always be paid to people who relentlessly worked an sacrified themselves for their country further added: “The more we raise awareness regarding our rich cultural values, heritage and accomplishments, the more will other nations know about us”.
Mr. Saparbayev who further added that in the near future events will also be held to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the birthday of Abay and the 1150th anniversary of the birthday of Al Farabi along with the 750th anniversary of the Altyn Orda State said: “It is important that young people participate in these events because this will help them introduce the history of Kazakhstan, its culture and literature to their foreign friends.”
At the end of the conference, TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov offered the book published by TURKSOY on three pioneers of the Kazak people to the keynote speakers of the conference.
