The tour of the Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY is about to start

This year, the Tour of the Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY will feature concerts in Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia and Portugal.

The Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY gathering artists from various countries of the Turkic World under the auspices of TURKSOY will give concerts in various prestigious festivals of Europe.

This year's tour of the choir will feature concerts at the Espressivo Music Festival and the Summer Festival of  Budva  as well as concerts in Lisbon and Cascais within the framework of the World Choir Expo where the choir has been invited to perform by the International Federation of Choir Music.

The Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY which is composed of talented artists from the best conservatories of the Turkic World and was founded in 2015 had won three gold medals at the World Choir Games shortly after its establishment. This year, the choir will take the scene with 35 young artists from  Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Tatarstan.

The choir will be conducted by the Choirmaster of the Philharmonic Choir of Kazakhstan Maestra Gulmira Kuttybadamova from Kazakhstan and the People's Artist from Azerbaijan and Choirmaster of the Polyphonic Choir of the Turkish Radio and Television TRT Maestra Elnara Kerimova.

Prior to its tour, the Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY  will come together in Ankara and rehearse from July 5th to July 15th, 2019.  Within the framework of its preparatory activities  hosted by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey  the choir will also record a special album. 

Following its successful performances which were broadcasted by the TRT Radio and Television in previous years, the Youth Chamber Choir of TURKSOY is looking forward to  introduce its new repertoire to its audience this year.
