Special Prize of TURKSOY awarded to the Winner of the First International Viktor Tretiakov Violin Competition
TURKSOY Secretary General Prof. Dusen Kasseinov handed over the Special Prize of TURKSOY to the winner of the First International Viktor Tretiakov Violin Competition
Upon invitation of the Ministry of Culture of the Province of Krasnoyarsk (RF) Prof. Dusen Kasseinov attended the final round of the First International Viktor Tretiakov Violin Competition held in Krasnoyarsk on September 30th, 2018.
Violinists who reached the final round of this prestigious competition were Runyin Zhang (PRC), Shucong He (PRC), Chisa Kitagawa (Japan) and Sergey Dogadin (Russia) who were accompanied by the Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphony Orchestra under Maestro Vladimir Lande. Competitors enchanted the audience with their brilliant performance of works by Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius and Shostakovich.
The final round of the competition which the International Organization of Turkic Culture is an official partner of took place on October 1st, 2018 and ended with a ceremony in which the first three finalists of the First International Viktor Tretiakov Violin Competition received their prizes. While the Special Prize of TURKSOY was handed over to the winner of the competition Sergey Dogadin by TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov, the Second Prize went to Chisa Kitagawa from Japan and Runyin Zhang from the Peoples' Republic of China and the Third Prize went to Shucong He from the Peoples' Republic of China.
In appreciation of his success and talent, Prof. Kasseinov invited Sergey Dogadin, the winner of the First International Viktor Tretiakov Violin Competition to participate in this year's tour of the Youth Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY to Europe which will take place in November this year.
