17 concerts on 2 continents
This year's Nevruz celebrations of TURKSOY reached out from the Balkans to Anatolia and from Anatolia to Central Asia. The celebrations held in cooperation of TURKSOY, TIKA and the YUNUS EMRE INSTITUTE featured 17 concerts in 5 countries.
Within the framework of Nevruz Celebrations of TURKSOY organized in cooperation with TIKA and the Yunus Emre Institute 17 concerts were given on two continents. The concerts took place with the contribution of artists from the Turkic World. While young artists from the Balkans took the scene in the Turkic World, artists from the Turkic World took the scene in Europe. All performances were highly appreciated by the audience.
Nevruz Celebrations of TURKSOY started in Turkistan on March 21st, 2017 and went on simultaneously in various cities of Turkey including Ankara, Bursa, Bolu and Edirne as well as in Bucarest, Constanta (Romania), Komrat and Chisinau (Gagauzia/Moldova), Bishkek and Karabalta (Kyrgyzstan) and Turkistan, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2017 along with Kyzylorda, Shieli, Kentau, Shymkent, Lenger and Almaty.
