Honorary Citizenship of Bilecik awarded to TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kaseinov
On January 15th, 2016, the Mayor of Bilecik visited TURKSOY Headquarters and handed over the certificate of Honorary Citizenship of Bilecik to TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kaseinov.
The Mayor of Bilecik who also came together with staff members of TURKSOY during his visit expressed his wish to further develop the cooperation between TURKSOY and the Municipality of Bilecik.
Mr. Yagci further said: ''The Former Minister of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Mr. Dusen Kaseinov visited our city within the framework of the conference "The History and Present of Bilecik and its Surroundings" recently held in Bilecik. We were very honoured to welcome him in our city. Upon decision of our city council we have declared him as Honorary Citizen of Bilecik. I believe, we will carry out very successful cooperation activities with TURKSOY in the near future".
TURKSOY TÜRKSOY Secretary General expressed his happiness to be awarded the honorary citizenship of Bilecik and thanked the Mayor of Bilecik Mr. Selim Yagci, members of the City Council of Bilecik as well as all citizens of Bilecik.
