A delegation of the Museum of Fine Arts of Shymkent visited TURKSOY

On the occasion of its official visit to Turkey, a delegation from the Museum of Fine Arts of the Province of Southern Kazakhstan visited TURKSOY Headquarters.

TURKSOY Secretary General Prof. Dusen Kasseinov met with the delegation headed by the Director of the  Museum of Fine Arts of Shymkent in his Office. The delegation came to Ankara to visit museums, examine their working principles and exchange information as to their activities.

In the meeting, Prof. Kasseinov touched upon the cooperation between TURKSOY and the Museum of Fine Arts of Shymkent  and extended his gratitude to all those who contributed to activities carried out to celebrate Turkistan, as this has been a cultural capital of the Turkic World which has welcomed ans hosted a much higher number of events compared to previous cultural capitals of the Turkic World. Prof. Kasseinov also said that in the coming phases of the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World  the Museum  of Fine Arts of Shymkent will also be included in the project .
Prof Kasseinov who said that the aim of the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World is to  promote Turkic peoples, their culture and their cities stressed that the number of tourists who visited Turkistan this year has increased doublefold and that this clearly stands as a proof of the fact that the Project is successful. Prof. Kasseinov also said that following activites carried out by TURKSOY to promote Turkistan, artists of the Turkic World who visited the city to attend various events said that they will further strengthen their ties with Türkistan and increase their contribution to the promotion of  Turkistan.  

The Director of the  Museum of Fine Arts of Shymkent Mr. Aynabek M. Ospanov stressed that within the framework of its cooperation with TURKSOY, the  Museum of Fine Arts of Shymkent hosted an exhibition featuring photos resulting from Photographers' Gathering of TURKSOY, an exhibition of Handcrafts  and an exhibition of paintings resulting from Painters' Gatherings of TURKSOY. Mr. Ospanov who said that all these events gathered a large number of  visitors and took place on a high level added that Works resulting from these events will be agreat contribution to the Turkic World and Turkic culture. Mr. Ospanov extended his deepest gratitude and wished further success to TURKSOY for its activities to preserve Turkic culture and transmit it to future generations.
